Olen Wayne Nottingham, age 67, of Genoa, Arkansas, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 20, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Olen was born on April 12, 1959, in Eureka, California, and lived in Genoa, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Fouke High School, Class of 1977.  He retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company after thirty-six years of dedicated service. During his career with the company, he was an active union leader, serving the United Steelworkers Local 752L as Union Steward, Division Chairman, and Treasurer from 1995 to 2011. He was a stubborn, hardworking man whose generous spirit touched many lives.  Whether helping a stranger, a friend, or a family member in need, he was always willing to lend a hand and give of himself without hesitation.  Olen attended Legacy Baptist Church in Genoa.

Olen was a devoted family man who always made sure his family’s needs were met. He was a proud and devoted grandfather who always supported his two grandsons, Jaxon and Whit, in whatever adventures they chose to pursue. Whether cheering them on, offering guidance, or simply being there for them, he took great joy in sharing in their lives and accomplishments. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, growing a garden, working in his yard, tending to his flower beds, and crappie fishing with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his son, Trenton Nottingham, his parents, Billy Wayne and JoAnn Nottingham, and one brother, Phillip Nottingham.

He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Cindy Nottingham of Genoa, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Maegan and Josh Thomas of Genoa, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Mickey and Kathy Nottingham of Genoa, Arkansas; one sister, Vicki Hawkins, of Texarkana, Arkansas; two grandsons, Jaxon Thomas and Whit Thomas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
