Three injured in Delaware Street stabbing, TAPD searching for suspects

TEXARKANA, Ark. — Three people were injured in a stabbing Wednesday night in the 2100 block of Delaware Street, according to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department.

Officers responded to the call at about 9 p.m. on July 22 and found two victims at the scene with minor, non-life-threatening injuries. Police said a third victim left before officers arrived and later sought treatment at a local hospital.

The victims told officers the suspect arrived in a dark-colored SUV and started a verbal altercation with them. One victim said the suspect and two other unknown suspects got out of the vehicle and initiated a physical confrontation, according to police.

All of the suspects fled the area in an unknown direction before officers arrived.

TAPD Criminal Investigation Division detectives are working to identify the suspects and gather additional information about the incident.
