Texarkana Resources Announces Sponsorship Opportunity for 2026 Battle of the Bands

Texarkana Resources for the Disabled, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is inviting community partners, businesses, and supporters to join them as sponsors for the upcoming Battle of the Bands, scheduled for September 19, 2026, at 301 E 3rd Street in Texarkana, Arkansas, in front of Hopkins Icehouse.

Texarkana Resources provides daily training, support, and vocational services to more than 100 individuals with disabilities across the region. The organization’s mission centers on helping each person achieve greater independence, self‑sufficiency, and confidence through meaningful skill development and community engagement.

This year’s Battle of the Bands promises a full day of live music, entertainment, and community involvement. Recovery Road Productions has selected Texarkana Resources as the official beneficiary of the event, ensuring that proceeds directly support the nonprofit’s essential programs. Local bands will compete for top honors while attendees enjoy food, vendors, raffles, and a lively festival atmosphere.

Impact of Sponsorship

Texarkana Resources emphasizes that sponsorships play a critical role in sustaining services amid recent federal and state funding reductions. Financial support from sponsors helps ensure that vital programs remain available to the individuals who rely on them every day.

Sponsorship also provides businesses and organizations with a visible opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to building an inclusive and supportive community. A full sponsorship packet outlining levels and benefits is available for those interested in partnering with the event.

Texarkana Resources for the Disabled, Inc. is a private charitable organization with federal 501(c)(3) tax‑exempt status. All donations are tax‑deductible, and the organization’s IRS tax ID is 58‑2004441.
