ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES MANAGER
The City of Texarkana, Texas is currently accepting applications for the position of Administrative Services Manager for the Texarkana-Bowie County Family Health Center
Qualifications: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, filing and accounting. Must have a valid drivers’ license.
Applicant will perform a variety of routine and complex administrative/supervisory duties, as well as clerical, secretarial, computer generated, and administrative work in keeping official records. Provides support to the Health Director, and assists in the administration of the standard operating policies and procedures of the department. Responsible for all activities in the accounts payable function for the Center. Ensures timely payment of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records. Applicant will have knowledge of proper procedures to follow for filing claims for both private, Medicaid and Medicare insurance. Maintains inventories and purchasing. Prepares and submits annual State budgets and audits for grants from the Federal and State Governments. Prepares and submits annual City budget for the center, submits monthly Program billing, Oversees billing done by billing clerks to ensure Program spending is on schedule with the State recommendations. Applicant will have knowledge of principles and practices of modern office programs, working knowledge of basic arithmetic, aptitude of detail work. Ability to read and relay detailed information to employees and general public. Applicant will have the ability to train employees on computers and familiarize them with necessary software. Ability to attend out of town training if necessary.
