Three juveniles were arrested Friday afternoon for allegedly stealing a golf cart used by security maintenance at University Commons Apartment.
Officers quickly spotted the golf cart as they were nearby working an accident when dispatched to the call.
The juveniles abandoned the golf cart when they spotted officers on Briarwood Street.
Officers soon reported they had the three suspects in custody on Wade Ln. at Belt Road.
According to Texarkana, Texas Police Department Public Information Officer Sergeant Mike Jones, “the three juveniles were charged with felony theft for stealing a golf cart from University Commons apartment complex.”
