Benefit Show at Randy Sams’ on Friday with Jason Springer & The Dusty Rose Band

Texarkana, Texas | This Friday night, Jason Springer & The Dusty Rose Band will play a Randy Sams’ Benefit Show. “The early onset of cold weather has stretched our resources and we are thankful for opportunities like this to bring awareness to the issue and help us provide for others,” stated Randy Sams’ Executive Director Jennifer Laurent.

The shelter is seeking donation to help because the shelter is almost at maximum capacity and desperately needs donations to continue to provide the amazing service to the Texarkana community.

The Benefit Show will start at 7:00 pm and end at 9:00 at the Randy Sams’ Homeless Shelter. The Shelter is located at 402 Oak Street in Downtown Texarkana.

“This week we have handed out dozens of coats, gloves and hats to non-residential clients while providing shelter, food and clothing for an almost full house,” stated Laurent.

Admission is free, but donations are requested – either money or basic necessities.

The Shelter is in desperate need of:

  • Bleach
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Mens pants size 30-40
  • Men’s Deodorant
  • Men’s Socks
  • Blankets

The clothes do not have to be brand new – just clean.

“We are so grateful for the outpouring of concern from the community as they work to help some of those in our community most in need,” stated Laurent.
