January 14, 2015 | Oklahoma law enforcement began pursuing a grey colored Chevrolet pick-up with a white cargo trailer in McCurtain County, Oklahoma and the pursuit ended in just over the Arkansas border in Sevier County, Arkansas, according to the arrest warrant.
McCurtain County Dispatch contacted Sevier County officials as the driver made a U-turn and tried to ram the McCurtain County law enforcement vehicles, according to the arrest warrant.
At one point, a McCurtain County vehicle left the roadway and came to rest near a fence. After the pursuit continued for several miles, the vehicle attempted to make a U-turn. A McCurtain County vehicle made contact with the pick-up and the pursuit ended. McCurtain County officials took the passengers into custody when Sevier County officials arrived on scene, according to the arrest warrant.
The driver was identified as Clay Paul Denny and the passenger was identified as Rhonda Mc Combs. Denny admitted that he had a loaded syringe in his hand as he exited the vehicle, according to the arrest warrant.
Denny admitted that the trailer was stolen, according to the arrest warrant.
Sevier County officials searched the vehicle at the Detention Center. The trailer contained items that Denny admitted had been stolen from Little River County, Lafayette County, Cass County, and Bowie County, according to the arrest warrant.
