Hospice of Texarkana is asking the community for individually wrapped snacks and canned drinks for families of patients in our Inpatient Care Center.
Message from Hospice of Texarkana:
At Hospice of Texarkana, we not only care for our patients but also recognize the strain on our caregivers. As a small respite, we provide snacks and drinks to our caregivers who have a loved one in our care center. This may seem like a small gesture, but it allows our family members and loved ones to remain at the care center without having to leave to grab a drink or snack. We have a variety of snacks ranging from high-protein and healthy to sweet indulgences.
“Any donations would be greatly appreciated and utilized,” said Nancy Thomas, director of supportive care services at Hospice of Texarkana.
Donations can be dropped off at Hospice of Texarkana, 2407 Galleria Oaks Drive, Texarkana, TX.
Needed snacks include individually wrapped cookies, small bags of chips or Goldfish, fruits, nuts, or trail mix.
