Knots for Noggins 5K/5Mi

This race is our first Annual 5K/5Mile run to introduce Chloe’s Journey of Faith Foundation that she started at the age of 12 after being diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain cancer. Her mission was and continues today to help raise money for Pediatric brain cancer research. We are currently in collaboration with Alex’s Lemonade Stand in funding a grant to find a cure for GBM, DIPG and Osteosarcoma. We are a nonprofit 501c3 and all proceeds benefit Chloe’s Crusade for the Cure hero fund. The run will include all ages and includes those who choose to walk. There are 2 routes you can choose from.  To add a little fun we are asking runners to participate in the most creative head gear upon registration day. You do not have to run with the headgear. You are not required to create headgear but we would love for you to participate for a great cause and to bring smiles and joy to children who are suffering from cancer. We will take pictures and vote on our Nogginear of the year. It will be held at Northside Church on Summerhill Road and the routes are rural route only and we are positive you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in one of the most peaceful neighborhoods in Texarkana. Any major cross overs will be supervised by our local PD and State troopers. No major streets or highways.
