December 17, 2014 | The United States Senate confirmed Robert William Schroeder III to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas. The US Senate confirmed the nomination on December 16, 2014 by Voice Vote.

The Honorable David Folsom retired as Judge from the Eastern District of Texas in March 2012.

Judge Schroeder currently practices law as partner in the law firm Patton Tidwell Schroeder in Texarkana, Texas.
