Man leads multiple agencies in pursuit across Texarkana

A man is in custody after leading multiple area police agencies on a chase across Texarkana Saturday afternoon.

The pursuit started when a Bowie County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a car for running a stop light near College Drive and Belt Rd.

Bowie County Sheriff, TAPD, TTPD, Nash Police, and Miller County Sheriff all assisted in the pursuit.

According to radio traffic the vehicle attempted to ram officers at one point.

The pursuit ended when the suspect stopped in front of Smith Keys Village Apartments on Washington Street.

No details have been released on charges the driver is facing.
