Multiple Shots Fired into Traffic on Kennedy Lane

Update: “Officers responded to multiple shots fired calls in the 3300 block of Nichols Drive on October 11th 2014 at approximately 3:15pm” stated Texarkana, Texas Police Department.

Statement From TTPD:

Officers responded to multiple shots fired calls in the 3300 block of Nichols Drive on October 11th 2014 at approximately 3:15pm.

No one was injured and police are investigating this incident.

3:15 p.m. Saturday | Texarkana, Texas Police responded to the 2400 block of Kennedy Ln. to multiple reports of shots fired.  According to 9-1-1 callers a black male was shooting into traffic at another car

Police were quickly on scene and apprehended a person matching the description of the suspect in the 3700 block of Nichols Drive.  Police had another person detained in the parking lot of Forest Point Apartment.

One caller reported 10 shots.  It is unknown if either suspect detained by police has been arrested or charged at this time.
