Texarkana, Texas Police Department recently released two images showing traffic accident and calls for service statistics for the month of October.

Some interesting numbers taken from the chart. There were 3,012 service calls initiated by 911 calls and 606 by officers. The top three types of calls are suspicious person, disturbance, and alarm calls. The busiest time of day was 4pm and Friday was the busiest day.
There were 0 fatal accidents in Texarkana, Texas 45 injury accidents and 87 accidents causing property damage for a total of 132 accidents. Top accidents locations for the month include New Boston Rd. & Baylor St., New Boston Rd. & Robinson Rd., and 2500-2799 Richmond Road. 2500 – 2699 Richmond Rd. is the top location for Injury accidents for the year of 2014. Wednesday and Thursday were the busiest accident days and 5 p.m. was the busiest time of day.
Failure to control speed and driver inattention were the top two accident causes for the month.
