Georgia A Thompson, 79 of New Boston, Texas died on Thursday, March 19, 2026 in Texarkana, Texas.

Georgia Ann Thompson was born August 6, 1946 and died on March 19, 2026 at the age
of 79 at the Heritage Plaza Nursing Home.
Georgia accepted Christ into her life at an early age and united with the Prosperity
Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas. In 1983 she married Oliver Chester (OC),
Thompson.
She retired from Red River Army Depot with more than 30 years of service and was later
employed and retired form the New Boston ISD.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virgie Hooks, one son, Anthony Wayne
(Tony) Dollarhide, two brothers, John H. Dollarhide and J. D. Hooks, Jr.

Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, March 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the Prosperity Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
