Sophia Isabel Stiles, precious infant daughter of Damon and Raven Martinez Stiles, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Born on April 10, 2026, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, Sophia’s life was brief, but the love she brought into the world was immeasurable. In just a few short months, she filled the hearts of her family with joy, hope, and unconditional love. Her gentle presence, tiny hands, and beautiful smile created memories that will be treasured forever. Though her time here was far too short, the imprint she left on those who loved her will never fade.

Sophia was deeply loved by her parents, Damon and Raven Martinez Stiles of New Boston, Texas, who cherished every precious moment they shared with their sweet baby girl. She also leaves behind her loving brother, Victor Manuel Martinez-Cruz, and her sister, Elena Cecilia Cruz, who will always carry her memory in their hearts.

She is also survived by her grandparents, Alejandro Martinez, Rita Martinez, Anita Martinez, Jerry Hildebrand, and Mende Stiles; five devoted aunts; four caring uncles; and numerous cousins and extended family members who surrounded her with love from the very beginning.

Although words cannot ease the sorrow of losing a child, Sophia’s family finds comfort in knowing that her life, however brief, was filled with love. She will forever be their precious angel, and her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Pulaski Cemetery in New Boston, Texas. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
