Timothy James Fails, age 27, of Omaha, TX, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in Naples, TX. He was born on February 12, 1999, to his parents, Billy Ray Fails and Medina Diane Fails.
Timothy found great joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed watching WWE and MMA wrestling with his brothers, collecting action figures, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Known for his quick wit and playful sense of humor, Timothy was truly a big kid at heart who had a remarkable ability to bring smiles to those around him.
Above all, Timothy treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his precious nieces and nephews, who held a very special place in his heart.
Timothy was a devoted Christian who was a member of Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church. While he will be remembered for his laughter, kindness, and love for his family, the greatest love he had was his love for the Lord. More than anything else, Timothy was a child of God, and his relationship with the Lord was the foundation of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Fails; his Nana, Donna Johnson; grandfather, Carl Fails; grandmother Brenda Galusha; great grandfather and grandmother, Harace and Velma Hammond and his uncle, James Fails.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Medina Diane Fails; siblings, Jacob Ortuno (Raul) and Nathaniel Ray Fails (Tiffany); his cherished nieces and nephews, Liam Ortuno, Caitlyn Fails, Kyra Lane, London Lane, Jace Michael-Ray Fails, Mykah Lorynn-Rae Fails; grandfather, Randy Johnson (Rebecca); aunt, Donna Regina Manor (Kirk); aunt, Connie Bevers (Diana); aunt, Vickie Adkins (Ted); his cat, Catdog; his dog, Blaze, and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
A memorial service honoring Timothy’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with his grandfather, Pastor Randy Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation the hour prior to the service.
