Nash Elementary Named IXL High Achieving School, One of Only Eight in Texas
TEXARKANA, TEXAS – Texarkana ISD is proud to announce that Nash Elementary School has been named an IXL High Achieving School, making it one of only eight schools in Texas to receive this distinction.
The IXL High Achieving School award recognizes schools that demonstrate exceptional student engagement, skill mastery, and overall achievement through the IXL learning platform. The statewide recognition celebrates the outstanding work taking place at Nash Elementary and the campus’s continued commitment to helping every student grow and succeed.
“This recognition is something our entire Nash Elementary community can be proud of,” said Nash Elementary Principal Liliana Luna. “Our students have worked hard, and our teachers have been intentional about using tools like IXL to meet students where they are and help them continue building their skills and confidence. To be one of only eight schools recognized across Texas is an exciting accomplishment and a reflection of the dedication we see on our campus every day.”
Nash Elementary uses IXL Math and Language Arts to complement classroom instruction and provide students with personalized opportunities to strengthen their skills. The platform lets students practice at their individual levels, receive immediate feedback, and keep working toward proficiency and mastery.
The High Achieving School distinction reflects Nash students’ high levels of practice, proficiency, skill mastery, and overall achievement on the platform.
“Being recognized among such a small number of schools statewide speaks volumes about what is happening at Nash Elementary,” said Chief of Elementary Schools Christy Tidwell. “This achievement belongs to our students and to the teachers, staff, and campus leaders who challenge and support them every day. We are proud of the way Nash continues to embrace innovative learning opportunities while keeping academic growth and student success at the center of the work.”
The recognition adds another reason to celebrate the academic growth across Texarkana ISD and shows how thoughtful use of instructional technology can help teachers meet students’ individual needs.
