Oktoberfest Returns to Downtown Texarkana on October 3rd

Main Street Texarkana is bringing the community together once again for Oktoberfest, set for Thursday, October 3rd, from 5–9 PM at Front Street Festival Plaza in Downtown Texarkana. The annual celebration, held in loving memory of Bill Scurlock, promises an evening filled with food, music, local brews, and family‑friendly fun — all while supporting the ongoing revitalization of downtown.

The event will feature a lively Beer Garden showcasing regional favorites including Four States Fermenters, Lost Forty Brewing, and Southern Tail Brewing. Guests can also compete in the crowd‑favorite Beer Olympics, enjoy a variety of food trucks, and explore bounce houses and an exotic petting zoo, making the festival a true all‑ages experience.

Live music will fill Front Street Plaza throughout the evening, with performances from Common Ground and Jase & Heather Linn. For sports fans, Oktoberfest will host a College Football Watch Party on the big screen, giving attendees a chance to enjoy fall football under the open sky.

Admission to Oktoberfest is free, and all proceeds from festival activities support Main Street Texarkana’s mission to strengthen and revitalize the historic downtown district.

Oktoberfest is presented by CNB, with additional support from community partners and volunteers who help bring the event to life each year.
