New Showroom Now Open at Craig’s Custom Truck Outfitting & Trailer Repair

Family-Owned Business Brings Professional Truck Outfitting to the Four States Area

Craig’s Custom Truck Outfitting & Trailer Repair has officially opened the doors to its new showroom, giving Texarkana-area drivers a hands-on place to explore truck and trailer accessories and start outfitting their rig before they buy.

Inside their new building at 8730 Hwy 59S, customers will find a growing lineup of products on display, including running boards and steps, front and rear bumpers, tonneau covers, camper shells, winches, lighting upgrades, tool boxes, DECKED drawer systems, and more. New displays are arriving every week for the next several weeks, so there’s always something new to see.

“We wanted to build a place where you can walk in, see the parts and accessories for yourself, and see how it mounts up before you spend your money,” said Buddy Hackleman, co-owner. “That’s how you end up with something you’re actually happy with.”

That hands-on approach carries through to the planning, too. Whether you’re mapping out a weekend recreation setup, outfitting a truck or trailer for the job site, or building something in between, the team can walk you through the options and help design an upgrade that fits how you actually use it.

The showroom marks the newest chapter in a story that stretches back more than six decades.

Three Generations, Sixty Years Strong

Craig’s has been part of the Four States region since 1965, when the business was founded in Fulton, Arkansas. In the early 1970s, the company relocated to Texarkana, Texas, where it continued to grow and build a reputation for quality metal fabrication, welding, and trailer repair. Today, three generations have proudly served the community for more than 60 years.

In 2024, Joe Jr. Hackleman and Buddy Hackleman—who had spent years helping their family’s construction business serve Texarkana and the surrounding Four States area—took the next step by purchasing Craig’s Welding and rebranding it.

While honoring the traditions and values that built the company, they expanded its services into a full professional truck outfitting operation. Today, customers can rely on Craig’s Custom Truck Outfitting & Trailer Repair for gooseneck hitch installations, suspension upgrades, aftermarket bumpers, lighting, and a full range of truck accessories, alongside the trailer wiring, complete trailer restorations, and the aluminum welding and custom fabrication the shop has always been known for.

The new showroom gives that outfitting side of the business a home of its own where customers can see the parts, not just order them.

Come See It for Yourself
