A popular exhibit dedicated to celebrating a “Century of Women” is coming to the John F. Moss Library at Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
There will be a ceremony to open the exhibit at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, in the third floor atrium of the University Center on the Texarkana campus.
“The display highlights the critical role of women in creating a peaceful future,” said Rick Hall, who is helping to bring the exhibit to Texarkana.
“Throughout history, women have worked tirelessly—often behind the scenes—for the peace and safety of their families and their communities,” Hall said.
“This exhibit features the contributions of a few women. Untold millions more—both prominent and little known—have dedicated themselves to a fair and peaceful future.”
The exhibit features information on female Nobel Peace Prize laureates, celebrities and leaders throughout the world.
On display recently at Texas A&M University-Commerce, “Century of Women” will be on exhibit Sept. 28 through Oct. 3 in the third floor atrium of the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus.
