10:30 P.M. Wednesday night Texarkana Arkansas Fire Department responded to a commercial fire alarm at T-Town diner, 3205 E 54th St. When fire fighters arrived they confirmed it was an active fire with thick white smoke pouring from the structure.
Firefighters quickly had the and flames under control and by the time TXKtoday arrived, 15 minutes after initial alarm, no flames were visible. Smoke continued to be seen escaping from the building for the next 30 minutes.
The extent of the damage or the cause of the fire are unknown at this time.
