Toys for Tots Donation Drive
Christmas is closer than you think; it’s only 6 weeks away and we sure could use your help! Hope is in high demand this year! Help us meet that need by donating a new, unwrapped toy in our Toys for Tots collection box this Saturday, November 16th! We will be cooking on site. Burger plates will be provided for a $5 donation to Toys for Tots or a new, unwrapped toy. We will also have Amber Fenix Photography here for professional photos with Biker Claus at 12PM. The Grinch will be making an appearance, too! Amber Fenix Photography will provide digital prints free of charge at a later date or will have prints available for purchase while you wait. Make plans to bring the family for Christmas pictures and a day of fun and games for a great cause!

Be at the Ace of Clubs Carriage House on November 16th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm for a presentation by Dr. Tom Wagy, Brande Hewett, Chris Howell, and Mindy Zwirn of their research on the history of Spring Lake Park. Discussion and Questions to follow the presentation.

Texarkana Worthy of Warmth 5k, 10K, and Kid Fun Run 2019
Help us warm up Texarkana! All entry fee proceeds will be used to purchase coats for people in need in the Texarkana local community! Entry Fee – $25Sign up starts at 7:00 AM 5k & 10k Runs – 8:30 AMKid Fun Run – 9:30 AMAward and door prize ceremony – As soon as runners are finished. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd overall male and female for both 5k & 10k races. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners in each age division for both 5k & 10k races as well. Four Divisions: Male & Female Age Divisions for each race (5k & 10k): 10 and under (5K only)11-14 15-19 20-2930-3940-4950-5960 and all participants of the Kid Fun Run will receive an award!
