LNKTXK announces country music legend Mark Chesnutt as headliner for 9th Annual Destination Downtown presented by Robbins Toyota
LNKTXK is excited to announce that country music legend Mark Chesnutt will headline the 9th Annual Destination Downtown, presented by Robbins Toyota, on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Destination Downtown has become one of Texarkana’s premier annual events, bringing together live music, local businesses, restaurants, and entertainment throughout the Downtown Entertainment District. This year’s event is set to be the largest in its history, featuring more than 10 participating venues, eight live bands, great food and drinks, and an evening filled with the energy and excitement that has made Destination Downtown a community favorite.
The highlight of the evening will be a live performance by Mark Chesnutt on the Front Street Festival Plaza stage. With 14 No. 1 hits, 23 Top 10 singles, and more than 12 million albums sold, Chesnutt is one of country music’s most recognized traditional artists, bringing a long-standing career and a strong presence in the genre to Downtown Texarkana for an unforgettable night of live country music on October 24th.
In addition to the headlining performance, attendees will enjoy live music throughout the Downtown Entertainment District, creating a festival atmosphere that showcases the best of Texarkana’s downtown businesses, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
