The federal government estimates the cost of an individual shelter stay at $42.48 per day. Our shelter, Gayle’s Safe Haven, can house approximately 25 and our census is consistently 75 to 100% of capacity. We depend on contributions from the community to cover a large portion of the expenses associated with the shelter.
