Sex offender arrested for parole violation

According to Miller County Sheriff’s Office records Ronald Eitel was arrested Thursday evening for a parole violation.

Jail records show Eitel had an intake time of 6:56 p.m. to Miller County Jail.

A 16-year-old foreign exchange student reported to authorities that she was living in the same house with the level-4 sex offender after police alerted the public to his presence Thursday morning.

According to police the girl resided with Eitel since early August 2015.

According to Bennett TAPD has learned that Eitel’s wife, who applied using another name and as a single parent, made application for the exchange student and was accepted following their placement protocol.

Both agencies simultaneously learned of Eitel residing in the home with the parent and exchange student just prior to removal of the student.

Police are currently investigating any possible state or federal criminal charges that either Eitel or his wife may have committed.
