TexAmericas Center Reaches Record $101.95 Million Payroll as Employment Grows

TexAmericas Center, which owns and operates one of the largest advanced manufacturing, logistics and rail-served industrial parks in the United States, today announced the highest annual payroll in its history, reaching $101.95 million, according to its 2026 Annual Tenant Employment and Payroll Census.

Combined annual payroll increased approximately $6.7 million, or 7 percent, from $95.27 million in 2025. Total employment across the TexAmericas Center footprint reached 1,553 jobs, up from 1,536 last year, a 1 percent increase.

Employment outside Red River Army Depot (RRAD) grew to 1,304 jobs from 1,252 in 2025, an increase of 52 positions, or 4 percent.

TexAmericas Center conducts an annual census of tenants and operations across its campuses to measure its economic impact on the greater Texarkana region.

“Payroll across our footprint reached its highest level this year, and employment continued to grow,” said Scott Norton, Executive Director and CEO of TexAmericas Center. “We’re pleased with those results, especially with payroll increasing by nearly $6.7 million.
