According to weather forecasts heavy rain is headed for the Texarkana area.
A National Weather Service forecasts shows the Texarkana area possibly getting up to 5 inches of Rain by early Tuesday. They are currently forecasting 3-6″ of rain for most of North Texas with locally higher amounts.
According to forecasts the heaviest rain is set to hit starting Friday and last through the weekend.
