Frank Ray Bower

September 29, 1960 – May 25, 2026

Frank Ray Bower, age 65, of Hooks, TX, passed away on May 25, 2026, at a local hospital.

Frank was born on September 29, 1960, to the late John Bower and Glenda Atkins. He leaves behind a legacy of genuine love for his family and friends. Known as “our precious one,” Frank had a kind and generous heart that touched everyone who knew him. His memory will live on forever, like time spent sitting together on the porch.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jonathan Bower.

He is survived by his son, Ben Bower; sisters, Sandra Campbell (Allen) and Janet Beck (Richard); granddaughter, Emma Grace Bower; life partner, Shannon Smiley; best friend, Roy Melton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Mr. Bower will lie in state from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Chapelwood Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
