A&M-Texarkana Fall 2015 Commencement is Fri. Dec. 11

Texas A&M University-Texarkana will celebrate its fall 2015 commencement ceremony Friday, Dec. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the historic Perot Theatre in downtown Texarkana, Texas.

A total of 257 students from August 2015 and December 2015 will receive master’s and baccalaureate degrees. Approximately 188 students are expected to participate in the ceremony.

The spring 2016 commencement ceremony will be May 14.

Dr. Jon Mogford, vice chancellor for research for The Texas A&M University System, will bring greetings from the A&M System.

Dr. Emily Cutrer, president of A&M-Texarkana, and Dr. Rosanne Stripling, provost and vice president for academic and student affairs, will present the candidates and confer the master’s and baccalaureate degrees.

Dr. Bill McHenry, dean of graduate studies and research at A&M-Texarkana, will present academic hoods to recipients of master’s degrees.

Music will be provided by R. Andrew Clark, executive director of the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra, and A&M-Texarkana student Hannah Woodard of Longview, Texas.
