A&M-Texarkana offers Teaching English as a Foreign Language courses

Are you interested in becoming certified to teach English worldwide?

 

The Texas A&M University-Texarkana Office of Extended Education and Community Development and TEFLOnline.com have partnered to offer online Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate, diploma and International Diploma in English Language Teaching training courses that prepare graduates for teaching jobs in countries around the world.

 

TEFL refers to teaching the English language to students with different first languages. TEFLOnline.com was developed by BridgeTEFL, the largest provider of TEFL courses in the United States, with almost 30 years of experience training teachers and teaching languages around the world.

 

“The TEFLOnline.com instructors have taught English in all corners of the globe, and we are excited to share their experience with participants in the Texarkana region,” said Shelley Caraway, executive director of Extended Education and Community Development at A&M-Texarkana. “Our graduates will finish the course with the skills, knowledge and confidence to teach English in classrooms worldwide.”

 

Programs range from 40 hours to 150 hours in length, depending upon the level of certification desired.
