Texas A&M University-Texarkana, in partnership with Texarkana College, will host a transfer workshop on Thursday, Feb. 9, from 12:30-2 p.m. in the Perot Leadership Classroom of the Palmer Memorial Library on the Texarkana College campus at 2500 N. Robison Road, Texarkana, Texas.

The purpose of the transfer workshop is to provide information and assistance to students who plan to transfer to A&M-Texarkana upon completing their associate degrees at Texarkana College.

Representatives from the A&M-Texarkana College of Business, College of Education and Liberal Arts, and College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics will be on hand to provide information about programs and courses available at the university.

Computers will be available to complete an admissions application, request transcripts and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Lunch will be served.

“If you graduate this May and plan to transfer to A&M-Texarkana, this event is a great opportunity to gain valuable information. You will have a one-on-one experience with A&M-Texarkana faculty/staff and be able to complete necessary documents,” said Katelyn Sloan, Community College Transfer Center coordinator.
