The University of Arkansas at Hope Community Education Department in partnership with the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council will hold a “Mommy & Me” abstract painting class Sunday, May 7, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the art classroom on the Hope campus.

Anna Powell, UAHT Community Education Director, said, “Mother’s Day is upon us and what better way to celebrate than to create your own abstract painting with the ones you love.  Grandmothers, aunts and special women in our lives are all welcome!”

Each artist will have their own canvas.  All supplies are included and punch and cookies will be served. Must be at least 5 years of age to participate.

The cost for the class is $50.00 for a reservation of two and $20.00 for each additional reservation.
