Texas High School DECA students headed to State competition after receiving first place awards at Career Development Conference


During the recent District 6 Career Development Conference, twelve Texas High School DECA students received First Place awards and will now advance to the state competition in San Antonio, TX in February.


Award recipients were:

Marisol Aguilar, Ravon Cornelius & Isaiah Germany – Entrepreneurship Promotion

Odin Contreras & Michael Murphy – Entrepreneurship Business Plan

Cody Hambly & Alexia Smith – Business Law & Ethics Team Decision Making

Carl Oliver & Mason Shoalmire – Buying & Merchandising Team Decision Making

Daylan O’Neal – Financial Consulting

Eduardo Naranjo – Principals of Finance

Secret Smith – Professional Selling
