Henry Smith

Henry Louis “Louie” Smith, 52, passed away on June 27, 2026.

Louie was born on April 17, 1974, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He spent most of his adult life in Texarkana, Arkansas, where he built a life surrounded by family and friends. He proudly served in the United States military and later worked in telecommunications, also for the local water company and a proud Volunteer Firefighter for Fouke, Arkansas.

More than anything, Louie loved his family. He loved spending time together, whether it was sitting by the water with a fishing pole in his hand or gathering around to play games. Those simple moments with the people he loved most were what meant the most to him. He was someone who enjoyed making memories, sharing laughs, and being together with his family.

Louie was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Mari Smith; his daughter, Savannah Smith; his son, Cody Gustafson; his daughter, Rebekah Gustafson; his father, Curtis Smith; and his brothers, Beau Smith and Dennis Smith.

Louie will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. His family will forever cherish the memories they shared with him and find comfort in knowing that his love, laughter, and the time they spent together will always remain in their hearts.

Arrangements are under the direction of Tri-State Cremation and Funeral Services, Texarkana, Arkansas.
