Let’s get crafty and spooky! We’ll be painting mini pumpkins for everyone to get in the Halloween spirit. We’ll be painting on October 12th from 2-3 pm and the event will be $5 per person and free for TMS members and children under three. We look forward to see what you can make!

Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration

Texarkana College, Texas A&M University-Texarkana, Red River Federal Credit Union, Vero’s Latino Store and Ledwell & Son are hosting a Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
on Saturday, October 12th from 11-3 pm. This is a family-friendly event, free admission, food for purchase at Vero’s Latino Store. There will be Folklore performances, tropical and Caribbean performances, activities for the kids, Spanish Signer, vendors, and much for fun!

 

Jeans & Bling

We’ve Gone Country! The 10th Annual “Jeans & Bling” event for Hospice of Texarkana will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, October 12th, at the Texarkana Convention Center. Put on your chic western duds and join us for a fun evening which includes a Texas BBQ Buffet, Live Music, a Lip Sync Battle, Raffle and Silent Auction. All money raised stays local and benefits Hospice of Texarkana, a nonprofit agency. Tickets can be purchased for $60 each online: http://www.hospiceoftexarkana.org/      or at 2407 Galleria Oaks, Texarkana, TX, or at 501 East 6th St., Texarkana, Ark. Tickets will also be available at the door. Call 903-794-4263 for information.

 

Eagle Open House Fall 2019

Visit our Eagle family on October 12, 2019 for our Eagle Open House! The event will host students, families, and guests on our campus. Texas A&M-Texarkana will showcase various areas of the University ranging from academics to campus activities. You will have an opportunity to speak with representatives from undergraduate admissions, faculty representatives from each of our colleges; College of Arts, Sciences and Education (CASE), College of Business, Engineering and Technology (CBET), Residential Life, Financial Aid & Scholarships, Veterans & Military Services, and our multitude of student organizations.
