Two in custody for use of counterfeit money

Two suspects have been taken into custody by Texarkana Arkansas Police Department after using counterfeit money.

Texarkana Texas Police Department published a warning to the public about counterfeit bills being used in neighboring cities.

Shortly after their 11 a.m. post detectives with Texarkana Arkansas Police Department caught up with the suspects at a local hotel on North State Line.

According to Texarkana Arkansas Police Department both suspects were taken into custody on felony forgery charges and were booked at the Bi-State Justice Building.

According to a post made by TTPD, people and businesses in other area cities have fallen victim when they took movie prop money for payment or in the money they got back in change.

Police were told that these bills look and feel real – at least until you look at it closer.

When taking a closer look at the bills one can locate wording which says “For Motion Picture Use Only.” However, someone in a hurry might easily miss this detail about the bill.
