Scout-O-Rama 2019 returns to Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, Texas the weekend of April 26 – 28 for Boy Scouts of America units all over the Four States area and beyond. It’s time to register your Scouting unit if you’re planning on being there for all the fun this year. Unit registration is free and available online at 4statesSOR.com/registration through March 20. After that, there will be a $25 late registration fee for units camping with us. T-Shirt and patch orders must be in the Scout Service Center no later than April 12 by 5 PM.
Camping for 2019: Due to BSA National Camp Standards, Cub Scouts (including Webelos) are not permitted to camp overnight at Scout-O-Rama. They can participate in all camp activities, just not overnight camping. For those units, please register as Non-Camper.
Scouts will be swarming the park all weekend but Saturday, the public is invited to come learn more about Scouting in all of its many forms and have some fun. Scout-O-Rama will be open to the public Saturday from 10:30 am to 4 pm, and all exhibits should be open around noon. This year our theme is “Scouting for Life.” Scout Troops, Venture Crews, Sea Scouts, Webelos, Cub Scouts, Exploring Posts, and more will come from all over the Four States area for this popular regional Scout show and would love to show off the skills they have learned through their adventures in Scouting. Admittance is FREE!
Bring $5 to purchase a chili bowl to sample some of the best chili in the Four States area during our 4th annual ICS sanctioned chili cook off. Chili will be served from Noon until it’s gone, so get there early!
