Matt and Jessica Palmer, owners of Big Jakes BBQ, are behind the new restaurant.
According to Jessica it’s a back to your roots burger place. “You’re not going to find an egg on your burger here, we just want to do old fashioned cheeseburger grease runs down your arm good.”
Sum Burger serves Henry’s Homemade Ice Cream and is the first location in Texarkana to serve Stubborn Soda, Pepsico’s craft soda line.
Sum Burger is located in the old County Market building at 4059 Jefferson Ave.
