Texas A&M University-Texarkana will sponsor FAFSA Tuesdays from 4-6 p.m. each Tuesday during the month of February in the Eagle Express in front of the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus at 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.
Financial Aid office staff members will be available to assist graduating high school students and current college students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2016-2017 academic year. Pizza will be served.
Dependent students should bring their parents to complete the parental portion of the FAFSA. Those who have filed their 2015 taxes may be able to use the IRS data retrieval process to automatically transfer the income directly into the FAFSA.
Dependent students should bring a copy(ies) of their parents’ 2015 tax return(s)/transcript(s) and W-2 statement(s) and a copy their own 2015 tax return/transcript and W-2 statement.
Independent students should bring a copy of their 2015 tax return/transcript and W-2 statement and, if applicable, their spouse’s 2015 tax return/transcript and W-2 statement.
March 15 is the state grant priority and financial aid priority deadline at A&M-Texarkana.
