Arlene Jene McKinney, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Born on May 28, 1947, in Long Beach, California, Arlene was the beloved daughter of Ward and Winifred Huber. She was a strong, independent woman whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. Arlene had a special love for animals and enjoyed expressing her creativity through cross-stitching, crocheting, and quilting.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Donald “Bubba” McKinney Jr.; and her brother, Harold Huber.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 62 years, Donald McKinney; her daughters, Chrissy Marco and husband Don, Angela Adams and husband Shane, and Melissa McKinney; her grandchildren, Justin Marco, Joseph Marco, and Ethan Adams; her nephews, Everett Huber and Brandon George; her sister-in-law, Vira George; and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, in the chapel of Chapelwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends during a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
