Horace Dale Allen

Horace Dale Allen, 84, of Fouke, Arkansas, passed away on July 13, 2026. Born July 17, 1941, Horace will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew and loved him.

Horace was retired from the Miller County road department, where he gave 21 years of dedicated service. In the steady work of a life faithfully lived, he earned the regard of others not through fanfare, but through commitment and reliability.

A faithful and devoted member of Fairland Holiness Church, Horace cherished his church family and the fellowship of attending services. He supported his family to the fullest, offering a steadfast presence that will be deeply missed.

Horace also found joy in simple, meaningful work—especially spending time outside, tending to his garden, where patience and care were evident in all he did.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Allen, and a son, Horace Kevin Allen.

Survivors include his children and their spouses: Ricky and Cara Allen, Tim Allen, Doug Allen and Heidi Washburn, Jeff Allen and Evelyn Buxton, Rebecca Jimerson and Brandon Allen; his sister, Eunice Hawkins; his brother, Yewoul Allen; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family extends special thanks to Gentiva Hospice for all their care and support during this time.
