Jackie Ruth Smith, 92, of Texarkana, Texas, left to be with her Lord in Heaven, Saturday, August 30, 2025.
Mrs. Smith was born March 4, 1933, in Hermitage, Arkansas, living the majority or her life in Texarkana, Texas.
She was a lifelong member of St James Episcopal Church. In her early years she was a model; however, her greatest joy was keeping the books for her husband until his retirement, spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Rene’ King and son in law Bill King, grandchildren Jacqueline King, Curt King, Madison Reel and husband Ashley Reel, great grandchildren Goodwin Hendrix and Malachi Reel.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00pm, Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas Blvd.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel with Travis Jackson of Church on the Rock officiating.
Private burial services will be held in honor of Mrs. Jackie Smith.
