Patricia Ann Tiffin, age 85, died on August 1, 2026, at her home.
Pat was born February 26, 1941, in Conroe, TX, to the late Paul M. Stringer and Dewey Elaine Jones Stringer. She attended Milby High School in Houston, TX and graduated from Texas High School in Texarkana, TX. On January 16, 1959, she was united in marriage to William E. Tiffin in Houston, TX.
Pat retired from Sears and worked for Southern Clinic. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Texarkana, TX and was a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class, where she enjoyed helping with many ministries.
Pat enjoyed genealogy, Woodmen Gravestone Project, square dancing with Guys ‘N Dolls, round dancing with Clara’s Clowns, clogging with Carol’s Country Cloggers and Texas Magic. When she was 59 years old, her clogging group participated in the 2000 Independence Day Parade in Washington DC.
Pat is survived by her daughters Suzanne Tiffin (Tena) and Beverly Tiffin, granddaughter Jessica Walker (Christopher), grandsons Preston, Christopher, Donovan, and Matthew, great grandchildren Londyn and Nathan, brother William Stringer, and sister Dianne Henderson (Garry). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years and parents as well as her stepfather Herbert Golden, brother Paul Stringer Jr, niece Laurie Courtney, and Nephew Paul Stringer, III.
Funeral services will be held on August 7, 2026 at 1pm at Chapelwood Funeral Home Nash, TX with Bryan Bixler officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation hour prior to the funeral service from 12 pm – 1 pm at Chapelwood Funeral Home. Burial will be at Chapelwood Cemetery.
