One person was taken into custody Monday afternoon after a shooting which took place in Redwater, followed by a high-speed chase.
Driving a ’93 Cadillac, the driver sped down U.S. Highway 67 just outside of Texarkana with approximately five patrol cars in pursuit.
The vehicle’s right front right wheel was spinning only on the rim, the back right tire flat and continuously lost other parts as the chase came to an end at the Wake Village Circle.
Suspect was taken into custody.
At least one person dead at a residence in Redwater, according to Bowie County Sheriff James Prince.
